When a tax authority raises a notice about a purchase or sale, you can produce a consolidated proof package that includes route history, toll data, delivery timestamps, and uploaded documents. **Why POD matters:** Under Indian GST regulations, businesses may be required to prove that goods were actually transported and delivered. The POD module creates a timestamped, evidence-backed record that satisfies this requirement. #### High-Level Flow `E-Way Bill` → `Create POD` → `Add Driver / Vehicle` → `Track Shipment` → `Upload Documents` → `Delivery Complete` → `Download Report` *** ### Prerequisites Before you begin using the POD module, ensure the following: * Your business unit and GSTIN are configured under **Configuration → Manage Business**. * Supplier and buyer details are added in the system. * If you plan to use automatic E-Way Bill fetching, your NIC GSP credentials must be added (see Auto-Fetch via GSP). * For FASTag tracking, vehicles must have an active FASTag tag. --- # Agent Instructions This documentation is published with GitBook.
